Morgan Hill Playhouse
Morgan Hill, CA
The 189 seat Morgan Hill Playhouse is situated on the Community and Cultural Center campus in a beautifully renovated 1920′s era church. The intimate setting has no stage house. The building represents a charming blend of both the new and the old, having been reborn into a modern performance facility featuring centrally controlled sound and lighting systems as well as a proscenium stage.
The RGDL design included electro-acoustical systems for sound reinforcement, reproduction of pre-recorded material and recording functions for speech and music. The Main Playhouse Reinforcement Loudspeaker System includes a central cluster located on the centerline of the theater directly in front of the proscenium augmented by additional delay cluster(s) and/or full-range loudspeakers to provide consistent sound coverage to the entire seating area. In addition, there are microphone, loudspeaker and intercom receptacles located throughout the theater for microphone inputs, monitor loudspeaker outputs and intercom connection points from a variety of locations.
